Helping local communities during emergency situations

Our group started by tackling an ambiguous question: how might we utilize Uber's infrastructure to help local communities in emergency situations? We began with months of intensive research into fast/slow onset disasters and brainstormed potential directions. Our final deliverable is to design a partnership platform to allow emergent groups the opportunity to donate supplies in any emergency situation (hurricanes, tornadoes, COVID, etc.) with drivers delivering these needed supplies to organizations dedicated to helping affected communities.
